About Vetruly

Hi! My name is Katlyn and I'm the founder of Vetruly, Inc. As a veterinary professional with a background in canine physical rehabilitation, I've worked under boarded specialty veterinarians in surgery and internal medicine departments. I've had a first-hand look at the struggles owners face every day when their pet is diagnosed with chronic, orthopedic, terminal, or degenerative conditions. It can be heavy, and sometimes pet parents need more support than what's available in a traditional clinical or pet care setting.

Likewise, veterinary professionals often work multiple jobs to make ends meet and struggle with burnout and compassion fatigue in overbooked, understaffed environments.

Vetruly was born out of a shared need: a marketplace connecting dedicated veterinary professionals with pet parents seeking specialty care for their pets, in their home or at a provider's facility. Whether it's helping a senior dog regain mobility, supporting a diabetic cat with daily care, or providing skilled nursing for complex conditions, our mission is simple: make expert, compassionate care accessible to pet parents, and give veterinary professionals the chance to earn more by putting their specialty skills to work.
